I've never really liked the idea of using solar operated gadget or similar tool until my friend recommended this solar battery charger for iPhone. I can say that it works for me pretty well especially since I work in the field as a city engineer. I can always find a place to charge my phone while at work. the only downside of this, i can't use it during rainy season. but really cool and reasonably priced. (Posted on 6/14/11)

I think this charger is quite good. It's not the fastest thing to charge your iPhone, but I've been on a few long trips to parts of Africa this past year on medical missions, and there are places without electricity where I can't charge my phone. Although, many of those places also don't get any reception, at least having my iPhone on hand with many details and notes was a really good thing and makes the solar charger all the more worth the price.
