I recently found this fairly cheap Sony security camera for my house and I am surprised at how effective it works. For only less than $35 I was able to get more than I bargained for. The AS-508 dome camera is small yet a functional IP camera. My video feeds are directed towards my PC so I can monitor from time to time the people at home. The dome is enclosed in a metal outer covering so that it can withstand extreme temperatures. The metal covering also serves as a cooling design so that it absorbs the heat coming off from the device. (Posted on 12/22/11)
