  • Every time I go to set this up my computer ask for password. I don't have a password yet, I haven't gotten that far. How can I by pass this? I can't use it at home or only on a cell phone?

    Sencondly,pls confirm the specifications of this unit:
    working temperature is -10°C to +65°C
    Storage Temperature is -20°C to +70°C
    relative humidity is 5% to 95 %, non-condensing
    
    If Antarctica can fit for the conditions above mentioned,it can track by your family or friends in States.

  • I need to be able to mark a spot where I am so that I can return to it again. Does this have the capability to do this? I know some marine units do this but they are not very portable.

    We can not supply you the SIM card,you need to buy it from your local mobile communication company,and pls insure your SIM card open the GPRS function,so that you can send the command to the SIM card which insert into the tracker,and later,the tracker will send you a SMS including the longitude and latitude,and then you can search it by goole earth.

  • I have two questions one is the unit water proof. if I drop it in the water while im outside will it destroy it?
    Second can the unit be mounted with a magnet?

    No,this unit is not water-proof.So you can not drop it in the water.We have one kind have water-proof function,CGT00011,but means it can only protected against low pressure jets if water from all directions - limited ingress permitted.All this kind of unit can not drop it in the water.Second,this unit do not have magnet.Tks!

  • Does this unit record (log) locations for later download eg. from its USB port? I'm interested in recorded routes for later viewing/checking, not live reporting. If it can, how much recording capacity does it have eg. in time (how much memory does it have on board)? Thanks.

  • Q1. Does this device only send an sms with the lat. & long. or would i be able to open a web browser and actually view the location without having to enter the coordinates manually.
    
    Q2. Does this unit work in UAE (Dubai). I do have a gprs enabled sim and the weather conditions are perfect too.
