Have you ever heard about the LED lights? If not, then you are way out of the hottest (no pun intended!) things when it comes to technology and lights. Apparently, these particular lights have been around since 1962, when it was introduced as a practical light component. Usually, LEDs are used as indicator lights for devices, but currently, it is also widely used as a lighting alternative. It can even be said that it is now one of the primary lighting options.
As mentioned above, LED bulbs are manufactured to act as indicator lights for devices, but now, people have found a much better use for the said lights. Now, LEDs can be used as alternatives and replacements for incandescent and neon lights, which require a higher voltage of electricity just to be able to light. However, at this point, LEDs are pretty limited to being an indicator light; no matter how many appliances are made with the use of LEDs, developers still have a long way to go to finally harness the full capacity of LEDs.
Through research and development, LEDs which were originally used as indicator lights can now be used for a bigger and brighter purpose (again, no pun intended!). Because of the continuous advancement in technology, developers have found a way to make LEDs with higher power capacities, making the production of LED spotlights possible. Because of this advancement, LEDs are not limited to being indicator lights anymore; it can now be used for lighting rooms and spaces.
