China As a Main Manufacturer of an iPhone Clone

September 21st, 2009

You might have heard a lot about the iPhone clone and thought just what is it and how good is it. The iPhone clone like the name suggests is supposed to be a copy of the original Apple iPhone but cost significantly less than the original. One of the biggest manufacturers of iPhone clones is China and there are a number of various models too.

Now one of the things that concerns people with iPhone clones is the quality of the phone. The truth is that even though it might have the majority of functions as the original phone its still slightly different. For one it goes by various names so as to not to infringe upon copyrights. The second being that the software and its functionally varies as well.

The reason there are differences is essentially because the makers of the iPhone clone are trying to make a cheap iPhone. They are trying to eliminate the things that cost a lot in order to make it affordable. So in fact by doing that there are small compromises they have to make.

In terms of durability and lasting long the iPhone clone is probably as good as the original piece. Everything pretty much is the same except for probably the material used to make the body of the phone might be slightly cheaper. Also the finishing of the phone might not be as sleek and shiny as the original.

You also need to take into consideration that these phones are not endorsed by Apple. Also they will not have the same warranty as the Apple original.

However they cost around seventy five percent cheaper than the original phone. This is a big savings for those people who want an iPhone but don’t want to pay through the nose to get it. And of course the best place to get it would be a Chinese online electronic shop.

Radio Controlled Helicopter – Guaranteed to Stay Interesting Until February

September 18th, 2009

Think back to the days of your youth.  Remember the remote controlled car that you absolutely had to have each Christmas?  Remember how excited you were when it showed up under the tree?  I do.  I remember playing with it all Christmas day, and in very special cases all day on December 26th.  Yet by the 27th, or at least by New Year’s Eve, that car was buried in the closet, never to see the light of day again.  However, next December there was always a new car that was even cooler.

If you are looking for a new toy for your children this year (or, let’s be honest, for yourself), don’t get another remote controlled car.  Learn from the lessons of the past, and try to find another form of entertainment that stays exciting longer than a plate of pancakes.  If you must stick with controlling mini forms of transportation, at least upgrade to a remote control helicopter.  This gadget is sure to remain cool longer than any car you can find.  Here’s why:

1. It flies!
2. It requires a great deal more skill to operate than a car.  This means that you will spend the first few days just mastering the controls, simultaneously challenging your brain and improving your hand/eye coordination.
3. Its remote transmits up to 100 meters, much further than most remote cars.  Add to this the vertical capabilities, and there are infinite ways to challenge yourself or compete with your friends.

A remote controlled helicopter costs about the same amount as a car ($30-60), and is much more entertaining.  It is small and safe to use around the house, and has an impressive remote control range outdoors.  This toy is a great gift idea for your kids or for yourself, and is sure to cure your remote controlled car withdrawal blues in early January.
