- Hello, This item does not fit the 1998 VW Passat. It fits cars of Volkswagen MAGOTAN, Bora, Touareg, Touran and Sagitar.
  And this item is compatible with the rear view cameras.

Item fitted perfectly with wiring on my Chevrolet Captiva. Simply removed the original dvd/radio unit and this dvd/gps/radio unit fitted rigth in. The only thing I had to source was an adapter to fit aerial but other wise looks like a factory fitted product. GPS was simple to programme too. Great features at a fraction of OEM price.
